YOUTH CLUB
Romans 10:14........"How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed?
and how shall they believe in him whom they have not heard?
and how shall they hear without a preacher?
The Youth Club runs from the beginning of October to the end of March. It takes place on a Saturday night from 7.00pm to 9.45pm. All young people from the age of 12 years and upwards are welcome to attend.
We aim to provide a safe environment in the winter months for the youth of the town, where they can participate in various activities, i.e. football, badminton, basketball, hockey, table tennis and video games. A tuck shop is also provided.
The main aim of our club is to reach the young people with the Gospel. With this aim in mind we set aside the last 15 minutes of the club for a short epilogue, where the Gospel is presented faithfully by a variety of different speakers.
It is our prayer that these young people, many of whom have no other contact with the Church , will come to a saving faith in Christ at an early age, and discover that He really does satisfy and give a real purpose and meaning to life.
